St. Louis, MO – Saint Louis FC has announced the addition of STLFC Academy players Matteo Kidd, Jack Maher, Aedan Stanley, and Nikiphoros Vlastos to the 2017 roster, pending USL and U.S. Soccer Federation approval.
Matteo Kidd was born in St. Louis, MO and has played for St. Louis Scott Gallagher since he was seven years old. He was a State Cup champion and played in the STLFC Academy at the U-17, U-18, and U-19 levels.
Jack Maher was born in Caseyville, IL and has been in the club for five years. He played for the U-14 NPL National Championship team and has represented the United States at the U-18 MNT level.
Aedan Stanley was born in Columbia, IL and is a 2016 NSCAA All-American Youth award recipient and a 2016 Starting XI Central Conference Defender award winner. He is member of the U.S. U-18 MNT with over 10 appearances. Stanley made his debut for the club on September 24, 2016 as a 64th minute substitute during a 2-2 draw with Oklahoma City Energy.
Nikiphoros Vlastos was born in Casper, Wyoming and won three club state titles in his home state before joining SLSG in 2015.
